Welcome to a game that isn’t really a game and more like a long list of bad jokes that I came up with in less than 5 minutes. Let’s see how long you can last through the entire thing without pressing the “N” key to see what I have to say to those who pressed it. There isn’t a counter to know exactly how many times it has been pressed, but with the ways the comments are made allows for assumptions. Please enjoy the cringe list of jokes that has been made and will probably never leave this game due to the sheer cringe that it brings.

Very nice and funny jokes. There's a good mix of puns and double entendres.

Nice jokes. The contrast between the totally real image of a comedy bar and the plain background/text in the game is funny as well. I got most of the jokes, except for the 1+1 one. Is that supposed to be a visual interpretation of a window?

It was a bit unclear which button I should press to continue. Although, in hindsight, the only options were Y or N based on the beginning. However, it would be better to articulate that clearly.

While some of the jokes were confusing, I have heard the thing about computer bugs before. My first playthrough I did read it all, but I thought it was funny how the second playthrough the game was so blunt about why you're even playing. I also thought it was great to ignore the player if they decide to dive in.

this is very fun! I like the lightheartedness! If I could add something, I think it would be cool for the narrator to break the fourth wall more often- similar to how it does when you click No. Great job!

The “N” prompt is probably the main attraction of this game, see what funny meta narrative you have in stored. It would be better that if you set a “No” counter and the dialog is based on the number of No player had entered, instead of a specific dialog for each individual question. That way your meta narrative would be more logically consistent

I also like the topic of the game, it’s really funny and intereating

I really love the storyline of this game. However, it would be even better if a hint button were added for the later stages (Y/N).

yes! I hopes the instrcution can be more clear about what things player can do about the text on screen.

I think the game would be greatly improved if there were images accompanying each joke! I also think that if there was some sort of "laugh button" where you can choose to laugh at certain jokes that would be really cool as well!

Better yet, I think adding stock images with the watermark still present will contribute to the tone you are trying to set.

If not images, I think adding one of those classic laughing backtracks after each joke would add some humor to the game, and maybe a booing noise every time N is pressed

The look of the game reminds me of 2008 YouTube tutorials. The jokes in this game remind me of cheesy lines made by a side character in a video game, in a good way. I love how natural and charming it is.

I agree with this! It reminds me of resident evil one liners, sure they’re cheesy but as you said, very charming!

This bad joke game is relaxing and well described by the description lol. I like to read them through.

I think adding some interesting backgound images for each joke can make it more relax and have more fun lol.

These jokes remind me of little jokes that I would tell people to cheer them up when they're extremely upset, and it feels like they'd be slipped into animated movies for a quick laugh

The jokes that are made here reminds me of the comidian Liza Koshey and her videos and youtube. You share the style of jokes having a speculative or thoughtful idea behind the joke, almost like shower thoughts.

Making jokes makes this game feel very light-hearted and I like that you don't take yourself too seriously. Why did you choose these jokes specifically. Had you heard them before or did you completely think of them from scratch? The simple design works well to allow the player to think about the play on words.

LOL this game is so silly. I love the simple concept and how you execute it- it's exactly as you describe and I'm here for it! What made you think of this concept for a game? Were you making some of these jokes IRL already? haha

This was super fun. Did you literally just decide randomly that you were going to do this for your project? If so- that's awesome and makes this game even more spontaneous and quirky. This is awesome!

I liked the bad jokes; some of them were really dry and that made it funny. How did you decide on the jokes you would use? Like did you have them in your head already or did you make them up on the spot?

@kay24601/kay. this is the best dry humor I have ever experienced truly a work of masterpiece that has insulted both my comprehension skills and my humor as I found these jokes both confusing but also funny. Was this supposed to mess with people mentally? because it did with me; in a good way

@Gloriium/ellie

I thought the game was pretty interesting in concept --- I like games that play with the user and potentially punish them for not going along with the jokes in the game. I sort of wish there was a bit more to this narratively. Do like the extra dialogue if you press 'N' on all of the jokes!
